It’s Friday the 13th! Are you superstitious? Superstitions are any belief that is based on fear and is inconsistent with the known laws of science. We’ve all heard the common superstitions that lead to bad luck, but I found a few new ones that I have never heard of that I’d like to share.
*It is bad luck to turn a loaf of bread upside down after a slice has been cut from it.
*It is bad luck to leave the house through a different door than one used to come into it.
*If a candle blows out, evil spirits are nearby.
How about one for good luck.
*If you catch a falling leaf on the first day of Autumn you will not catch a cold all winter. Just so you know, I’m going to take the entire staff and the children outside to catch leaves this Fall and see if it works.
Anyone have a superstition to share?
